♥ Being In Prison ♥

Recently I have watched a movie regarding a teenager being put into prison for the reason of being accused of stealling something from the supermarket. That young guy is a very nice guy, good in study, good in character but having wrong kind of friends. His friend 'help' him to steal by putting something into his bag. Finally he get caught. No one believe him because the evidence was there.

These things remind me about Paul in the Bible (Acts 16:16-40). Paul and Silas were put into prison just because they are doing God’s work. The crowd joined in to attack Paul and Silas. But in the prison, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God (v25). And finally God save them.

One question came into my mind. If one day you were put into prison, not because of your own fault, but just because of some misunderstanding….. What would be your reaction? Would you still able to give thanks to the Lord for all the things that He has put you to go through? Or all the blames will come in?

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for all this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
