Happy 50th Merdeka Malaysia!!!!

For some of us, Merdeka is only a celebration, for some it just another holiday, or maybe it just another ordinary day. But for those who fight for the freedom of Malaysia, they really value this day. And I can only say a big 'Thank You'.

Today my friends and I had a little discussion. We discussed bout how original is the dialect we speak. A have a fun time learning from one another and laughing at each other. My friend made a comment, though we are Malaysian, but the dialects we speak are really different.
For example: Kuching's Hokkien is a bit different from South Malaysia's Hokkien, and South Malaysia's Hokkien is different from North Malaysia Hokkien. So if you say you speak Hokkien, I might don't understand what you talking about.

That's why we are called multi-culture nation.

Or should I say it's a 'multi-language' nation?

Nice quote from Mix Fm (For 50th Merdeka):
"We have different names, different background, different religious; we're also different in colors. But we share one common thing that is the color of the blood that runs through our veins"

"The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is in Christ.

♥ 跌 倒 了 ♥

Saturday, August 25, 2007

♥ 1/52 weeks in 2007 of PMP's life ♥

Little updates. Just in case some of you miss me too much... Hehe

Now, I can say a semester really started, after many weeks of relaxing time, laughing at people because they are so busy and I can 'Goyang Kaki' there. Last week, all the lecturers gave us projects to do. The questions it self already so many pages. What to say the solutionssssssssssss.

Look at my table....

The results of busyness and laziness.

=.='''

Help me!!!!

UNIMAS had just organized sport's day between colleges on last Saturday. I still remember my friends ask me to join the basketball competition. This is how I reply them:

'I'm old already, let the young one participate la.'

My 'lovely' friends just ignore what I said, forcing me to join them by just write my name in.

So I just have to commit myself for the training for the whole week. Just to avoid I lose badly.

Saturday coming.

Competition day!!!!

Before the competition, I saw something...

Handsome young referee. Cute boy, only 15 years old. Too bad I didn't take photo with him. But what attract me the most is not the referee boy, but its the referee girl. Pretty and cool young girl.

What's the result my team got???

**wondering**

Tang Tang Tang Tang.

Look at the picture below...

Not too bad... Though we are not the champion, but at least we still manage to get the third.

You might be thinking: What??? PMP know how to play basketball?!?!?!?!

Honestly speaking.....

I don't really know how. I won because I have a wonderful team. Thanks to them.

My Team!!!

Went to Kuching Fest for the last time this year on Sunday. I always like to go on the last day. 'Closing ceremony'....

I meet my cousin there, quite shock seeing him. Because I didn't even know he back from Australia and the main point is he look older. He is only one year older than me. But he look like ....... He just stepped into working world for only one year, and now he look so 'mature'. My sister ask a question: Will you face the same situation when you start working??? (Both of us studied the same course)

WHAT!!!! I DON'T WANT. I WANT TO BE FOREVER YOUNG!!!!!

♥ Jehovah Jireh ♥

Sunday, August 12, 2007

Jehovah Jireh
My Provider
His grace is sufficient for me

Jehovah Jireh
My Provider
His grace is sufficient for me

My God shall supply all my needs
According to His riches in glory
He will give His angels Charge over me

Jehovah Jireh cares for me
For me
For me
Jehovah Jireh cares for me

We sang this song in most of the Sunday service during thanks giving time.
Sometimes I just sang it because it's a song, Every one sang, so I just followed....

But today
God helped me to see the real meaning in this song.
He opened my eyes to know that
God will provide because He loves us.
Why are we always so worry about things in our lives?
Don't we know that God can provide?

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your mind in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

Remember this:

"My God shall supply all my needs!!!"

♥ A Story Between Me and Mr. Policeman ♥

Wednesday, August 8, 2007

3 days ago (Saturday)...

I went for Kuching Parada with my friends (But didn't see much, cause there are 'people mountain people sea'.) After that we went for Kuching Festival till quite late at night. Then after that??? Balik la...

On the way back home.

How come so many bikes and car stopped at the roadside???

I looked infront. Got police.....

As I drove forward, Mr policemen stopped me. Asked me to drive to the side. Looked at my road tax. Then he walked over.

Mr. Policeman: Lisen.
So I took the lisence out.
Mr. Policeman: You student kah?
Ms. Me: Ya. Saya student.
Mr. Policeman: (pointing at my car) Ini kereta siapa?
Ms. Me: Kereta bapa
(hey. Come on la. I told you already I'm a student. Where got money to buy a car.)
Mr. Policeman: You sudah lama pakai kereta ini kah?
Ms. Me: Ya.
Mr. Policeman:You tahu apa kesalahan kamu kah?
Ms. Me: Tak tahu.
(I answer very confidently)
Mr. Policeman: You tengok. You punyai brek tak ada light.
**shock**
Ms. Me: Ha? Ya kah?
**made innocent face**
Mr. Policeman: You tahu ini adalah satu kesalahan. You sudah langgar peraturan. So saya mahu saman kamu atas kesalahan ini.
Ms. Me: ......
**Speechless**
(Cause I don't know how to answer him already)
Mr. Policeman: Ini satu saman RM300.
(RM300!!!!! Siaw Arrrr... So expensive. One break light spoil only le. Maybe the law is like that, only I don't know nia)
Ms. Me: .......
Mr. Policeman: So sekarang saya mahu saman you.
Ms. Me: Oh....
(I got nothing else to say except an 'OH')
Then the Mr. Policeman took my lisence and wanted to give me a 'saman'.
Then after a while. (Round 1 minute like that)
He turned back.
Mr. Policeman: You umur berapa?
Ms. Me: 22
(Come on la. Can see from my IC ba. Stil want to ask)
Mr. Policeman: Student mana?
Ms. Me: Unimas
**pointed at the Unimas car sticker**
(Just incase he doesn't believe)
Mr. Policeman: Bapa kerja apa?
Ms. Me: Tak bekerja.
#Sorry God for lying#
(So lazy to answer already. So just simply entertain him)
Mr. Policeman: Berapa adik-beradik?
Ms. Me: lima....
( stil ask question...)
Mr. Policeman: Ini saman siapa bayar?
Ms. Me: Tak tahu.
Mr. Policeman: You bayar?
Ms. Me: Ya.
(Duh~~~ Off cause is me la. If I ask my dad to pay. I will get chop by him)
**Thinking**
(Think about how to really save my daily expenses to cover this 'saman')
Then the Mr. Policeman when back to continue to 'saman' me.
(Aduh... So late already still ask so much)
**Impatience**

Then the Mr. Policeman returned.
Give back my lisence.
Then I looked at him. Wondering where's my 'saman'.
Mr. Policeman: Nah. Saya tengok you ini student. Kesian you la. Tak mahu saman you.
Mr. Policeman: Tapi ingat pergi baiki lampu besok ya. Lampu baru berapa ringgit saja. Nanti kenak tangkap perlu bayar RM300. Banyak beza.
(Loso-ing...... Bla bla bla)
Ms. Me: Oh. ok. Thank you ya.
**Faster cabut**

That's the story between me and Mr Policeman.

On the way back, I really thank God cause I'm safe from the expensive 'saman'. If not, I will suffer from a great lost. I also learnt a leason: Always check you car!!!! Especially the back light.

The next morning.....
I told my mum bout this incident.

Mummy: I think the policeman wanted to get some 'kopi -O' from you la.
Me: Is it?
Me: No la. If he want to get 'kopi-O' I also won't give him one. Because I don't have money in my wallet.

LOL!!!!

So I decided to look for mechanic before I went to Sunday Service that day.
After waiting for the little mechanic (little kid) to repair my break light..... (He took such a long time to fix it. I wonder whether I can trust him or not)

Me: How much?
Kid: RM3

WHAT !!!!!!

Only RM3????
And that Mr. Policeman wanted to give me a RM300 saman?!?!?!

Thank God cause He helped to save my RM297.

♥ School's Cafeteria ♥

Wednesday, August 1, 2007

Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) is the eighth public university in Malaysia, and the first one initiated by the aspirations of Wawasan 2020.

For me, UNIMAS can consider a big campus. Cause if you ever try to use both of your legs to tour around UNIMAS, your legs will be as big as the elephant leg. Try it if you dare..... But If you use car, then that's another story. Only your engine of your car is working, not your legs mah.....

Normally I only travel 1/4 of UNIMAS. The areas that are not related to me, I think I will only step into it once a year? Or less?

Few days ago, I decide to use both of my legs, to walk around UNIMAS. You might think that I'm insane??? Or am I too free??? Yea, I'm quite free that day but definitely I'm not insane. I walk around for some purpose la.

Walk around....

Surrounded by many buildings.
Buildings again. This is my faculty. Big le. Even I want to walk around my faculty also so FAR the distance....
Besides buildings, we also have water tank. Proud to have such a big water tank in Unimas. hahaha
Ha? You might think how come Unimas only has buildings and water tank? Nothing else?
Got. Got one lake.

OK. Back to the point. Earlier on, I said I walk around with a purpose.
Nah Nah... Here is the place I want to go to. RHB Bank!!!! For what. Of cause its for money la. If not how to survive?
When I reach the bank. Something that attracted me. A newly open cafe in Unimas. Hide in the main building of Unimas some more. With air-condition some more.
Never knew Unimas got such a nice cafeteria. I thought only got canteen. Oppssss

Nicely design cafeteria.

With different kind of settings.

Sofa some. Really can relax there. Listening to some romantic music, lying on the sofa..... then really can fall asleep there.

Student ordering foods.

The tauke. A mat salleh....

Self service

Wow... Cakes and puddings. My favorite - Cheese cake.
Besides all the desserts, the cafeteria also provides Western food and some local food.
No worries. All the foods here are in reasonable price. For student ma, if very expensive surely will bankrup one.

One thing I found it weird. They put big umbrella in the cafe. Come on la.... It's air-condition closed place la.

Nice??? I at least I know where to bring my friends to when they come and visit me at Unimas.

Do feel free to visit me at Unimas ya. Will bring you tour around (you can choose by leg or tayar). As long as you treat me a meal in this cafeteria that's enough.
